Panthers Bagheera Match Report
Panthers Bagheera took to the court with seven players, welcoming Darcy and Isla from Firecats for their first game together as part of the team. The match began against a strong Pass n Play side, with Bagheera falling behind early at 5–1.
The coaching focus was on passing the ball in front, as the opposition were picking up a number of interceptions. This adjustment paid off in the second quarter — despite Pass n Play extending their lead to 6–1, Bagheera produced an outstanding comeback. Great teamwork and strong passages of play down the court saw them level the scores at 6–6 and even take the lead by one, turning the game into a thrilling contest.
The match remained close throughout, with Bagheera giving their absolute best until the final whistle, eventually finishing 9–13 in a hard-fought game.
Coaches’ Player: Ava
Opposition Players: Lillian and Chloe
A fantastic effort from the whole team and a great first outing together for this group. ??
