Despite the cold weather, our team gave it their all yesterday in a tough match. While the score didn’t go in our favour, there were plenty of positives to take from the game!
Attack: Our attacking players were really on the move today, driving hard to the ball and working on those strong passes we’ve been practising. Although we didn’t convert as many goals as we’d hoped, the attacking unit showed great potential and made some excellent attacking runs. With continued focus, those opportunities will start to turn into goals in the future.
Midcourt: The midcourt worked tirelessly, covering every inch of the court and chasing down loose balls. They were quick to intercept the opposition’s passes and kept the pressure on throughout. Their work allowed us to maintain possession and create some valuable attacking chances.
Defense: Defensively, our players put in a lot of effort, putting pressure on the opposition’s shooters and limiting their opportunities. While the opposition managed to score 11, the defenders definitely made it difficult for them.
Overall, while we didn’t get the win, the team showed great character and determination in tough conditions. A huge thank you to the parents who came out in the cold to support the team – your enthusiasm and encouragement is always appreciated!
