Mowgli Panthers faced a determined Rushmoor side in what turned out to be an exciting, end-to-end encounter that finished in a well-earned 9–9 draw — the team’s first ever draw!

The Panthers got off to a good start, taking an early 1–0 lead, but Rushmoor quickly responded to level the score. The game continued to flow back and forth. There was quite a lot of footwork calls during the game but think it was down to the slippery courts. Mowgli managed to edge ahead by two goals, but Rushmoor fought back strongly, keeping the pressure on throughout the first half.

By three-quarter time, the score stood at 7–6 to the Panthers (not '6, 7' like everyone wanted to say!! lol) , after some excellent team play and solid defending kept Rushmoor at bay. In the final quarter, Mowgli really began to settle — timing their runs better, improving their passing, and moving the ball smoothly down the court.

Despite going a goal down late in the game, the Panthers showed fantastic resilience and teamwork to turn things around, scoring a crucial equaliser to finish at 9–9.

It was a superb team effort, full of determination and spirit. With a big squad as well, the subs each quarter did a fantastic job of cheering the team on! Well done all.
