Panthers Leopards delivered a strong and composed performance to take a 43–32 win over Real Bedford in what was a closely contested match from start to finish. Both teams brought intensity, physicality, and determination, and it wasn’t until the final quarter that the Leopards were able to pull away.
A Tight Battle Through Three Quarters
The game was neck‑and‑neck throughout, with neither side able to break away. Real Bedford’s GS was phenomenal — accurate, composed, and a constant threat — and her presence kept the scoreline tight. By the end of Q3, the teams were locked at **29–29**, setting up a tense final quarter.
Unfortunately, an injury to Real Bedford’s GS late in Q3 shifted the momentum. With the opposition forced to reshuffle, the Leopards seized the moment and pushed on with confidence.
Q4 – Leopards Find Their Flow
The girls started the fourth quarter with real intent. That strong opening passage seemed to give them the belief they needed to settle into their usual game. The play became far more composed, the ball flowed smoothly through court, and turnovers were finally rewarded with clinical finishing.
It was a clear improvement on last week’s performance — sharper focus, better connections, and importantly, the girls started from the very first whistle. The growth from one week to the next is already showing.
