We knew this would be a tough game, with injury, illness, and limited numbers on the bench. Despite these challenges, the girls rose to the occasion. I am extremely proud of how they handled themselves and continued to fight hard to narrow the gap in the score.

MSN were a very physical side, and the girls did well to match the physicality throughout the game. They responded positively to instruction and tightened up their play, particularly in the defensive end during the second half. At halftime, MSN had scored 32 goals, however the girls reduced this to 24 goals in the second half. We lost the second half by just six goals, showing great improvement and fight.

Congratulations to Chloe and Sylvie for receiving CPOM. Chloe was crucial in the midcourt, linking both ends of the court, creating turnovers, and driving the ball into the shooting circle. Sylvie read the game well, with excellent movement in and out of the shooting circle, and her shooting was on point. Well done to Jess for OPOM. She had a brilliant first quarter as WA, and when she took on the 'C' bib, she fought hard to gain turnover ball.
