With National Schools pulling several of our usual squad away, today was all about being small but mighty — and this group of eight absolutely embodied it. With Maddie and Amaya stepping up brilliantly from Dynamo, the Pumas took on the challenge with maturity, grit and a real sense of purpose.
First Quarter: Strong Start, Smart Adjustments
The opening quarter showed promise but also highlighted a couple of areas needing refinement. Our pacing through the court and discipline on ball side were a little off, but the girls listened, adapted, and implemented changes instantly. From Q2 onwards, the improvement was clear — structured, thoughtful netball with every player doing their job and doing it well.
? Shooting Masterclass
A standout performance came from Holly and Amaya, who were simply sensational in the circle. With just one missed shot each, their accuracy, composure and connection were a huge part of today’s success. Every feed into the circle was met with confidence, and every opportunity was taken.
?️ Defensive Pressure Across the Court
Defensively, this was one of the strongest full‑squad efforts of the season. From first whistle to last, the pressure was relentless — hands over everything, disciplined footwork, and smart tracking that forced Chichester into repeated errors. It was a true team defensive performance, not just from the back three but through the entire court.
? Player of the Match Awards

✨ Final Thoughts
This was an outstanding performance from a squad that showed resilience, adaptability, and genuine passion. Every player stepped up, every player contributed, and every player should feel incredibly proud. A brilliant start to the weekend and a reminder of just how strong this group is — no matter the numbers.
Small and mighty… and absolutely magnificent.
