A tough start to the Berkshire County season with a very well drilled and strong Royals team as our first game! But the Jags girls came out with determination and grit and contested the whole game.

The first quarter- the physicality of contesting caught us all off guard but the girls settled into their stride.

As we settled into our game we grew in confidence.

I was proud of all the team today as everyone gave their all when on court and we had people trying our new positions to help support the team.

Third quarter after a great team talk about "be-lieve-ing"in ourselves saw us go out and have an outstanding quarter which we won- we even bought the score back to within 4. The defence were on fire in this quarter and caused the opponents errors and held balls and then the shooting end capitalised!

We learnt lots in the game and have some areas to focus on but overall very proud of the girls and the performance they put out- despite the score it was a very well contested game!
