Another solid win for Panthers Jaguars in their last game before the Christmas break- and what a game it was!
This was probably the toughest competition they have faced yet, resulting in a much tougher game at times.
The opposition had some notably strong players in their shooters and their WA.
Despite it being a tougher game- I thought the girls were more composed in their match play generally with better connections and discipline on court with some good passing up and down the court.
The discipline on arms over the ball was better this week too- which made me happy- and with an opposition that was tough to win ball off of, it came in handy with a number of tips getting us balls-which we converted to goal.
The shooting combinations all worked well today, and took into the game what they had worked on in practice and it served them well and movement was looking very slick in and around the circle. Rose's performance as GA was particularly notable with some exceptional shooting and a shooting average well into the 90%'s- this earned her Oppositions POM.
Tvisha also had an outstanding game with some fantastic intercepts which were a huge bonus for the team helping us get ahead- well done Tvisha!
We have a bit of a break from County games now for the U11's so we have some time to focus on our training ready to take on the second round of the league.
We sign off for Christmas- unbeaten and with a solid 4 point lead which we will certainly look to increase in the New Year!
