Wow what can the coaches say about the Cats 1st game. Whilst the team didn't win (losing 6-1) all the players worked their socks off on the court. The girls played so well considering it was their 1st Wavell game. They all showed great heart and came off the court smiling.

We have some work to do in terms of getting into space, getting in front of our opposition, strength of passing and footwork but you all made the coaches proud.

Ava B - amazing solid performance in defence.
Elizabeth - our little pocket rocket in mid court.
Abigail - very enthusiastic on court, getting into some good space in attack.
Valentina - made some good runs in mid court.
Kiera - competitive as always, working hard all the time
Ava McSweeney - came into her own in WD, tracked her player really well and made some great interceptions
Chloe - was a great back up to defence in C and attacked well.
Cora - was outstanding in GK, was flexible in trying a new position and wow what a difference that made
Lotte - so confident in defence and got so many interceptions, great driving up the court, great performance
Alice - good attacking option and got our goal in the game

CPOM - Lotte S
OPOM - Core K
