Panthers Tigers kicked off their first season in a strong Division 1 with a performance that showed exactly why they belong there. From the first whistle, the team worked hard, matching the physicality and pace of the division and proving they were ready for the challenge.

After a slightly unsettled Q1, the girls regrouped to refocus on the basics — strong drives, clear options to the ball, and disciplined decision‑making. They took that straight into Q2, holding a narrow 3‑goal lead and showing real composure in a game that went goal‑for‑goal throughout. Momentum swung both ways across the match, but Tigers showed maturity in maintaining their advantage at every quarter break.

Q4 was where the shift truly came. A couple of early turnovers gave Tigers the spark they needed, and the squad capitalised brilliantly — pushing on, lifting intensity, and showing the kind of connected play that wins tight games. It was a full‑squad effort with some excellent passages of play, and the girls should be proud of how they adjusted, listened, and applied coaching feedback under pressure.
