Match Report: Pantera vs Cheetahs
Under frosty conditions at Wavell, Pantera took on the Cheetahs and delivered another strong performance. The first quarter was a little erratic as they adjusted to the slippery conditions, yet they still managed to edge ahead on the scoreboard.
Once Pantera settled, their ball placement sharpened noticeably. They stopped treating the ball like a hot potato and began to build some beautiful combinations through the mid-court. Their defensive pressure was outstanding, creating turnovers that transitioned seamlessly into attacking play all the way down the court. Accurate shooting topped it off, keeping momentum firmly in their hands.
Pantera set themselves a team goal of hitting 30 by full-time—and with great determination, they nailed it in the final seconds.
Opposition Players of the Match went to Emily and Charmaine, while the Coaches’ Players were jointly awarded to Fern and Lara for superb shooting accuracy and strong attacking efforts.
