What a game!!

After a disappointing (and only loss) at our last fixture we took to court determined to put those demons to bed and take the win!

We knew that regardless of win, lose or draw we would win the league- but pride meant we wanted to go out on a high- and that we did!

It was not an easy win coming up against a very well drilled WPB team who we only just beat last time but it was great to see the whole squad give 100% to the game. We had to work hard on every ball and ensure that we executed movement onto the ball and the squad managed it 99% of the time with some really lovely passages of play.

It was great to see everyone applying their defensive pressure too and ensuring that we all worked hard to try and get the much needed turnovers for the team- they certainly weren't easy to come by but great work from everyone ensured we got them when it mattered!

We had great movement and options in the shooting circle with all of the combinations working well together and converting the turnovers!

Oppositions POM went to Susannah for her tireless work- especially in the last quarter in defence, and Bella for her impressive shooting- despite me putting her out into GA until her legs nearly fell off!

Coaches POM went to the whole team for one of the best games I've seem them play- with immense resilience on display too!
